A  better world  starts on campus

We're the Young Democratic Socialists of America at the University of New Mexico, the youth and student section of Albuquerque DSA. We're organizing on campus because we believe a better world is possible, and you can build it right here with us.

Whether it be the anti-war and civil rights campaigns of the '60s or the anti-Zionist encampments of the 2020s, students have historically been at the forefront of political action. Both in Albuquerque and nationally, we continue to face deepening economic crises; the concentration of wealth in the hands of a few, rising costs of living, the gutting of social programs, and our resources being dedicated to war instead of welfare.

As democratic socialists, we're building working-class power to challenge these dynamics of exploitation that dominate our lives, and transform our University and city into communities that prioritize basic dignity over profit.
